PHATA approves 11 development schemes for submission to governing body

Lahore: The Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) has approved PC-1 proposals of 11 development schemes for submission to the governing body, marking a key step towards urban development and housing scheme upgradation. The approval was granted during a DDWP meeting chaired by DG PHATA Khawaja Muhammad Sikandar Zeeshan. Officials reviewed the technical and financial aspects of the rehabilitation proposals and assessed their expected benefits and cost efficiency. According to PHATA, the initiatives will help improve infrastructure, enhance residential facilities and generate sustainable revenue streams for the authority. The DG reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to financial stability and institutional reforms aligned with modern urban planning requirements.
