Ramazan bazaars offer items up to 35pc cheaper than market: Maryam Nawaz

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the Punjab Sahulat Bazaar Authority office and reviewed the central monitoring system for Ramazan bazaars across the province. During the visit, she made a live call to a customer at the Johar Town Ramazan Bazaar to obtain feedback on prices and quality. Officials briefed the chief minister that a central monitoring mechanism has been established for 75 Ramazan bazaars, including mobile units and free home delivery services. Authorities said essential food items are being provided below DC rates, while digital monitoring and CCTV surveillance are ensuring transparency. A dedicated helpline is also operational to address public complaints and improve service delivery during Ramazan.
