Residents Demand Restoration of Neglected Family Park in Johar Town

Residents of High Court Society in Johar Town, Lahore, have expressed serious concern over the deteriorating condition of the local family park and have demanded its immediate restoration. According to locals, the park lacks basic facilities such as swings for children and benches for visitors, while grass has disappeared and garbage piles have created unhygienic conditions. Broken entry gates and frequent accumulation of sewage water due to drainage issues have further made the park unusable. Residents claim that despite repeated complaints to relevant departments and elected representatives, no practical action has been taken. Citizens have urged the district administration and concerned authorities to carry out urgent cleaning, repairs, and provision of recreational facilities to restore the park for community use.
