“Urban Regeneration Continues Along Circular Road from Railway Station to Azadi Chowk”

Lahore: Development activities under the urban regeneration initiative are progressing rapidly along Circular Road from Railway Station to Azadi Chowk on the special directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Authorities are focusing on façade upgradation of properties to improve the visual appeal of the historic commercial corridor. In addition, construction of modern footpaths and organised parking areas is underway to enhance pedestrian safety and traffic management. Officials say the project aims to revitalise the urban landscape, reduce congestion and provide better civic facilities to traders and visitors. The initiative is part of broader efforts to upgrade Lahore’s key heritage and commercial zones through planned urban improvement measures.
