Islamabad: The Cooperative Societies Department of the district administration has issued a show-cause notice to the former management committee of the Federal Employees Cooperative Housing Society, commonly known as Jinnah Garden Housing Scheme, over alleged violations of the approved layout plan and other irregularities. According to the notice, an inquiry into the society’s affairs identified multiple alleged legal and administrative violations. The inquiry officer submitted a detailed report on April 7, 2026, listing 11 allegations against the former committee. The notice represents a regulatory step and does not itself establish guilt; the former management is expected to respond to the allegations through the prescribed legal process.
