Sharjah Begins Dhs140m Bridge Project to Ease Traffic Flow

Sharjah has commenced construction of a Dhs140 million bridge at Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street and Mleiha Street to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow. The project features a 500-metre, three-lane overpass, upgraded roads, and expanded capacity, particularly benefiting University City and surrounding areas. Scheduled for completion within 12 months, the development is part of Sharjah’s broader strategy to enhance connectivity, road safety, and sustainable urban growth.
