Sargodha Gets Additional Electric Buses for Public Transport

Sargodha: Additional electric buses are being added to Sargodha’s public transport network under the Punjab government’s electric bus programme. Recent reports confirm that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced seven additional electric buses for Sargodha in September 2026. Earlier, 60 electric buses had been allocated for Sargodha city, while the broader Sargodha division was allocated 105 buses. The Punjab government’s current e-bus programme also lists Sargodha among the districts where electric bus services are operational. The latest claim that exactly 10 additional buses have reached Sargodha could not be independently verified through the official and major news sources located in this search.
