Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has intensified land-clearance and development activity in Sector E-12, removing unauthorized occupation from acquired land to clear long-standing obstacles to infrastructure work. In its latest official update dated September 28, CDA said approximately 750 kanals of acquired land had been cleared in the sector. Capital Development Authority
The authority said the recovered areas can now be used for development according to approved plans. CDA has also been processing claims of genuine affectees and issuing allotment letters where claims have been found admissible after legal and procedural verification. Capital Development Authority
Earlier in September, CDA separately confirmed recovery of about 16 kanals of acquired land in E-12 that had remained under unauthorized occupation. According to CDA, that site included a holiday home, accommodation for private guards and 14 shops being commercially rented out. Development activity was subsequently resumed at the site. The supplied update states that a cleared site will facilitate the East Service Road linking E-12 with Major Markaz Road. While CDA’s official material confirms land clearance and the resumption of development activity, the specific East Service Road-to-Major Markaz Road connection was not independently confirmed in the official releases located during this research.
