Dubai: Samana Developers has announced a major residential project at The World Islands in Dubai, with a gross development value exceeding AED 4 billion (approximately $1.09 billion). Announced on October 15, 2026, the development marks the debut of the company’s new premium real estate brand, Samana Collecta, which aims to introduce luxury island living for year-round residents.
According to the developer, the project will feature 840 branded apartments, seven floating villas and two tree villas, bringing the planned total to 849 residences. Accommodation will range from studios to four-bedroom homes, with entry-level apartment prices expected to start below AED 2 million.
The proposed island community will include private beaches, a lagoon, swimming pools, restaurants, a beach club, fitness facilities, co-working spaces and retail outlets. The developer also plans to introduce yacht shuttle services between the island and mainland Dubai at 30-minute intervals, alongside essential infrastructure for electricity, water, sewerage and waste management.
Samana Developers CEO Imran Farooq said the company intends to deliver the project within four years of construction commencing, with an internal target of approximately 39 months. However, the actual construction start date, final handover schedule and project-specific regulatory approval status have not yet been independently verified.
