Rs. 200 Billion Development Works Underway in 15 Punjab Districts

Lahore: Under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, large-scale development projects worth Rs. 200 billion are progressing across 15 districts under the Punjab Development Program. The initiative includes installation of 1,610 km of new sewerage lines, rehabilitation of 741 km of old systems, construction of 92 km of main drains, and over 108 km of roadside drains. A total of 27 new disposal stations are being built, while 59 existing ones are being restored. Officials said the projects aim to provide sustainable urban infrastructure, improve drainage, reduce flooding risks, and ensure long-term solutions to sewerage issues across Punjab.
