Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has inaugurated the T-Chowk (Iqbal Chowk) Flyover and the Islamabad Expressway Signal-Free Corridor, marking a major step toward easing traffic congestion between Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The Rs. 1.4 billion flyover was completed in a record 77 days under the supervision of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the Capital Development Authority (CDA). Addressing the ceremony, the prime minister praised the project team for timely delivery, transparency, and construction quality. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to remove illegal encroachments, which had long obstructed urban planning and infrastructure development.
