RDA Cracks Down on Illegal Housing Schemes in Rawalpindi, Demolishes Unauthorized Structures

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has launched a major operation against illegal housing schemes. During the crackdown, unauthorized developments in Green Enclave, Century Town/Signature City, and Taqwa Town along GT Road in Rawat were demolished. Authorities removed roads, electricity poles, plot demarcations, medians, and site offices built without approval. RDA has warned developers to immediately stop marketing and selling plots in unapproved schemes. The authority has strongly urged citizens and overseas Pakistanis to verify the approval status of any housing scheme before making investments.
