Rawalpindi Division to Set Up 16 Sahulat Bazaars During Ramadan

Authorities in Rawalpindi Division have announced plans to establish 16 Sahulat Bazaars across Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum during the holy month of Ramadan. The decision was discussed in a meeting chaired by Sahulat Bazaar Chairman Mohammad Afzal Khokhar and MNA Tahira Aurangzeb, attended by senior district officials. The bazaars aim to provide essential food items to the public at prices lower than the open market. Officials said special initiatives such as “Sahulat Drive-Through” and “Sahulat On The Go” will be introduced to improve accessibility and organize informal vendors. Facilities including food courts, children’s play areas, and washrooms will also be provided. District administrations were directed to expedite land arrangements and project execution.
