Rawalpindi accelerates master plan and market upgrade work

Rawalpindi: Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Amir Khattak has reviewed the progress of the Rawalpindi Master Plan and directed authorities to accelerate its completion. During the meeting, he also evaluated the ongoing Commercial Market rehabilitation and upgradation project, instructing relevant departments to ensure timely delivery within the approved timeline. Officials stated that the Master Plan is a key framework for structured and sustainable urban development of the city, while the Commercial Market project aims to improve infrastructure, enhance business activity, and provide better facilities for traders and citizens. The commissioner emphasized quality standards, inter-departmental coordination, and minimizing public inconvenience during development work.
