Lahore man linked to 1,743 registered vehicles

Lahore: A surprising case has emerged in Lahore where a citizen has been found linked to 1,743 registered motorcycles, rickshaws, and vehicles. The matter surfaced during an anti–e-challan crackdown when authorities checked vehicle ownership records during routine traffic checks. According to details, the vehicles registered under the name of Muhammad Jamshed have accumulated around 2,295 e-challans, amounting to approximately Rs2.82 million in pending fines for traffic violations. During a general hold-up operation, traffic officials verified ownership details, which raised concerns and prompted further investigation. The motorcycle involved was reportedly detained at Muslim Town Police Station, while Safe City authorities have been informed to trace the actual owner.
