Punjab’s Apni Chhat Apna Ghar programme selected for UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour

Lahore: The Punjab government has announced that its Apni Chhat Apna Ghar programme, launched under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has been selected for the UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award. According to the government, more than 200,000 families have benefited from the programme, with Rs260 billion provided in interest-free loans. The initiative supports affordable housing for lower-income families, with the announced recognition highlighting Punjab’s housing programme internationally.
