Lahore: The Punjab government has introduced a new evidence-based traffic challan system under which every traffic fine will now include photographic and video proof. Motorists will receive an SMS from 8070 containing a secure link to view the recorded violation before making the payment. All challans will be generated through the Traffic Police One App. Officials said the move aims to improve transparency, reduce disputes, and strengthen public trust in traffic law enforcement.
