Punjab prepares 72-hour Eid cleanliness operation

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: An important review meeting was held at the Suthra Punjab Authority head office under the chairmanship of Local Government Secretary Shakeel Ahmed Mian to ensure exemplary cleanliness arrangements across the province on Eidul Azha. DG Suthra Punjab Authority Babar Sahib Din also attended the meeting, where key directions were issued regarding Eid cleanliness operations, modern digital monitoring, emergency response teams, special waste management planning, and citizen facilities. Suthra Punjab operation teams will remain active in the field for 72 continuous hours during the three days of Eid. The initiative matters because timely waste collection and sanitation can protect public health, improve city image, support commercial movement, and maintain residential cleanliness. Can digital monitoring make Eid sanitation more effective across Punjab?
