Punjab launches development programme projects across multiple cities

Lahore: Punjab Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafique inaugurated projects under the Punjab Development Programme during visits to Muridke, Kamoke, Wazirabad, Alipur Chatha and Pindi Bhattian. Officials briefed the minister on ongoing schemes aimed at improving sewerage, rainwater drainage and urban infrastructure. The initiative, launched under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, targets long-term urban development to meet population needs over the next 25 years. The minister directed district administrations to ensure transparency, safety compliance at excavation sites and timely completion of projects to resolve longstanding municipal issues.
