Punjab Development Program Reviewed in High-Level Meeting Chaired by Minister Zeeshan Rafique

Lahore: Punjab Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique chaired a meeting to review progress on the Punjab Development Program (PDP). Additional Secretary Local Government Mahreen Fahim Abbasi and NESPAK officials briefed the minister. Zeeshan Rafique stated that the “Maryam Nawaz Ka Sohna Punjab” program is a game changer for providing modern municipal facilities. He revealed that development schemes have started in 51 cities, 49 cities are getting 105 water storage tanks, and work is underway on 114 drains. So far, 40 water storage tanks and 23 drains have been completed, while 47 underground tanks and 27 drains are in final stages. He directed to complete all work before the monsoon season.
