In addition, work is actively underway on the 67-kilometre Sahiwal–Arifwala road and the 31-kilometre Okara–Syedwala road. The provincial minister stated that the Highways Department is implementing the programme alongside other initiatives and aims to complete it within the current financial year to provide safer and modern road infrastructure to the public.
