Punjab accelerates development program to tackle urban flooding

Lahore: A high-level meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafiq reviewed progress on the Punjab Development Program (PDP), with officials expressing satisfaction over ongoing work under the “Sohna Punjab” initiative. Authorities directed departments to overcome delays caused by recent rains and Eid holidays and accelerate project completion. Officials stated that consultant staff have been deployed in 51 cities to ensure smooth implementation.
