PP-153 projects reviewed, sewerage scheme worth billions underway

Ali Raza Wajid : Lahore: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique chaired a meeting at Town Hall to review progress on ongoing development projects in PP-153. Officials briefed that a major trunk sewerage project from Harbanspura to Phatak Saddar Cantt is underway at a cost of Rs4.5 billion, while additional schemes worth Rs1.1 billion in UC-148 include tube wells, street rehabilitation, sewerage, and clean water supply. Authorities confirmed that hundreds of streets have already been repaired, and these projects will benefit a large population. The minister directed all departments to complete projects within deadlines and ensure strict quality control, emphasizing transparency and improved service delivery.
