DC inspects Children Hospital under Punjab health reforms

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Gujranwala: Under the Chief Minister Punjab Health Reforms Program, Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed conducted a surprise visit to Children Hospital Gujranwala. He inspected various departments, including the OPD, and checked attendance of doctors and paramedical staff as per duty rosters. The DC visited admitted children, interacted with their attendants, and inquired about availability of medicines and quality of healthcare services. He also reviewed arrangements at the hospital canteen and parking areas, directing strict measures to prevent overcharging. Officials were instructed to ensure improved service delivery, transparency, and patient facilitation in line with the government’s healthcare vision.
