PMD Forecasts Dry Weather Across Pakistan, Hot Conditions Expected in Plains

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather across most parts of the country, with hot conditions expected in plain areas. According to the weather forecast issued for September 23, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi are expected to experience dry conditions, with temperatures recorded around 22°C, 26°C and 28°C respectively. The Met Office stated that partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain may occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during the evening. The forecast indicates that major urban centres including Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad are likely to remain dry, while residents are advised to remain cautious due to warm conditions in plains.
