Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a review meeting on reforms at the National Information Technology Board and progress on the Islamabad Technology Park, directing authorities to focus on simple, efficient and modern digital services for citizens. He stressed that federal institutions must work in coordination to provide timely and transparent online public services. The prime minister described the migration of federal ministries to e-office systems as a major reform and ordered its use across subordinate departments and state-owned enterprises. He also directed faster digitisation of government institutions, greater adoption of modern technology and early completion of digital records for all government properties.
