Pakistan Railways Suspends All Train Services from Quetta

QUETTA: Pakistan Railways has suspended all train services operating from Quetta, both within Balochistan and to other parts of the country, due to security concerns. The suspension affects major routes including the Jaffer Express to Punjab, the Bolan Mail to Karachi, the Chaman Passenger train, and services on the Zahedan section. Passengers have been informed that booked tickets will be refunded. Meanwhile, the Jaffer Express traveling from Peshawar to Quetta was halted at Jacobabad after failing to receive security clearance, forcing over 400 passengers to return. Authorities have also suspended mobile internet services across Quetta, further disrupting daily life amid heightened security.
