NADRA has released version 5.6.6 of its Pak ID mobile application, introducing a new “View Card” feature for online identity card applicants. Citizens can now preview the expected appearance of their identity card before submitting the final application.
The feature allows applicants to review the personal information displayed on the card and return to the relevant application field if they notice an error. This can help reduce mistakes in names, addresses and other details before the application is formally submitted.
NADRA also said that registration of births, deaths, marriages and divorces through Pak ID has begun in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The first phase covers all village and neighbourhood councils in Peshawar, with the facility planned to expand gradually across the province.
