Motorway Police Ban Children Under 6 from Sitting in Front Seat

Lahore: Motorway Police have issued a strict warning that children under six years old are not allowed to sit in the front seat of vehicles. Officials explained that seatbelts are designed for adults and may not properly protect young children in case of an accident. Airbags can also cause serious injury to small children. A driver was stopped for this violation along with not wearing a seatbelt. Parents are advised to seat children in the back seat for their safety. Violators may face fines.
