Major cleanup operation in Gulberg over 1,000 workers deployed

Lahore: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) CEO Shahryar Arif Khan visited Gulberg Town to review cleanliness arrangements and door-to-door waste collection services. During the visit, he inspected sanitation activities in different areas and collected direct feedback from residents regarding waste collection services.
According to LWMC, more than 1,000 workers and 134 operational vehicles are engaged in a special cleanliness operation in Gulberg Town. The company has also deployed 170 loader rickshaws for door-to-door waste collection.
Shahryar Arif Khan monitored mechanical sweeping and washing activities on MM Alam Road, Kalma Chowk and Noor Jahan Road. He also reviewed cleanliness arrangements at Ali Zeb Road, Main Market, Liberty and Barkat Market.
The LWMC CEO said Suthra Punjab teams are ensuring container clearance and door-to-door waste collection across Lahore, while citizens were requested to cooperate with sanitation teams.
