LDA Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Reviews Bhati Chowk Underpass Final Works

Lahore: Lahore Development Authority Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Ahmad and Director General LDA Flight Lieutenant (Retd.) Tahir Farooq visited Data Darbar and Bhati Chowk Underpass to inspect final-stage development work. According to the latest LDA update, the main construction of the underpass has been completed, while finishing work and development of surrounding service roads continue around the clock. Tahir Farooq directed officials to establish a designated sitting area for labourers working near the project site. An APP report published on July 26 said the approximately 400-metre, three-lane underpass was developed at a stated cost of Rs1 billion and was being prepared for opening to traffic on July 30. The latest update did not specify when the service roads and remaining finishing work would be completed.
