LDA Seals 96 Illegal Commercial Properties in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority has intensified its enforcement drive against illegal commercial buildings and fee defaulters across Lahore, sealing 96 properties in multiple localities. Acting on the directives of the DG LDA, town planning teams conducted operations in areas including Canal Road, Defence Road, Ravi Road, Shadman, Gulberg, New Garden Town, Johar Town, NESPAK, and Owaisia Society. Properties were sealed for unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of commercial fees. The sealed premises include banks, hospitals, marriage halls, private schools, clinics, restaurants, salons, workshops, shops, and offices. LDA officials stated that indiscriminate action will continue to ensure compliance with planning regulations and recover outstanding dues, reinforcing lawful urban development and commercial regulation in the city.
