LDA Seals 96 Illegal Commercial Properties Across Lahore

Lahore Development Authority has intensified its crackdown against illegal commercial buildings and fee defaulters on the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq. LDA Town Planning teams conducted operations in various schemes and LDA-controlled areas, sealing 96 properties in a single day. The action was carried out in areas including Gulberg, Shadman, Shah Jamal, New Muslim Town, Johar Town, Allama Iqbal Town, and Sabzazar. Properties were sealed for illegal commercial use and non-payment of commercial fees. The sealed premises include private schools, colleges, restaurants, cafes, clinics, shops, offices, and other business units. The operation was supervised by senior town planners with support from enforcement teams, LDA security, and police. Authorities said indiscriminate action against violations will continue.
