LDA Seals 55 Illegal Commercial Properties in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified its crackdown against illegal commercial activities by sealing 55 properties across different parts of Lahore. Acting on the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, the Town Planning Wing carried out operations in Jubilee Town, Faisal Town, Model Town Extension, Gulshan Ravi, and Government Superior Services Scheme.According to officials, the properties were sealed due to unauthorised commercial use and non-payment of commercialisation fees. In Jubilee Town alone, 18 properties were sealed, while 17 properties were sealed in Faisal Town and Model Town Extension, and 10 each in Gulshan Ravi and the Government Superior Services Scheme.The sealed properties include private schools, clinics, pharmacies, property offices, workshops, showrooms, restaurants, salons, food points and shops. LDA officials stated that such actions will continue to ensure planned urban development and strict enforcement of building regulations.
