LDA Recovers Eight Encroached Plots Worth Millions in Avenue One

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has recovered valuable encroached land during an operation carried out in LDA Avenue One on January 20, 2026. Acting on the directions of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, the operation was conducted in M Block under the supervision of the Additional DG UP and led by Director LDA Avenue One, Umar Sohaib. LDA teams reclaimed eight residential plots measuring 10 marlas each, located at Khasra numbers 1185 and 1186. The recovered plots include numbers 621, 621A, 622, and 1280 to 1284, with an estimated market value exceeding Rs 80 million. Temporary structures and illegal constructions were demolished during the operation. LDA enforcement teams and police participated, while officials reaffirmed continued action against encroachments and land grabbing.
