Lahore reviews development targets under Sohna Punjab Phase II

Ali Raza Wajid : Lahore: A key meeting of the Lahore Development Program Steering Committee was held at Town Hall to review progress on urban development targets. Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s “Sohna Punjab” vision, officials highlighted that Phase II includes completion of thousands of streets and roads, extending basic facilities to previously underserved areas. Authorities emphasized that these master-planned initiatives are transforming the province’s urban landscape and improving accessibility. Departments were directed to maintain construction pace, ensure high-quality standards, and prevent infrastructure damage. Officials reiterated that balanced and uniform development across Punjab remains a top priority.
