Karachi University Road Project Nears Completion, Final Work Underway

Karachi: The University Road development project in Karachi has entered its final stage, with the remaining work expected to be completed within two months, according to Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.
The announcement was made during the inauguration of the Mosimiyat Flyover, which is part of the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The minister stated that construction work on University Road has been largely completed and commuter difficulties have significantly reduced.
The project includes major road improvement and BRT-related infrastructure works along one of Karachi’s important transport routes. Officials said the remaining construction activities are continuing and the project will move toward full completion after the final works are finished.
The Mosimiyat Flyover is part of the wider Red Line BRT development aimed at improving urban transportation facilities in Karachi.
