Rawalpindi: The Federal Board of Revenue has cancelled the auction of a Bahria Town property in Bahria Golf City, Rawalpindi, which had been scheduled for October 6, 2026. The property includes 32 kanal and 11 marla of land along with a constructed house. ProPakistani
The auction had been advertised in September by FBR’s Large Taxpayers Office, Islamabad, as part of proceedings to recover reported tax dues of about Rs26.47 billion. Bidding was scheduled for 11:30am at the LTO Islamabad. ProPakistani
The cancellation followed a Supreme Court stay order issued on September 29, 2026, restraining FBR from recovering the disputed tax amount and from taking enforcement action against Bahria Town while the matter remains before the court. ProPakistani
