Lahore: Residents of Fazlia Colony in Shah Jamal are facing severe difficulties due to a non-functional water filtration plant that has remained out of service for nearly three years. Locals report a lack of access to clean drinking water, forcing them to travel long distances or purchase water at high costs. The site has also deteriorated, with broken taps, missing fixtures, and poor sanitation conditions surrounding the facility. Despite repeated complaints to authorities, no effective action has been taken so far. Residents have urged immediate restoration of the filtration plant to ensure safe and reliable water supply in the area.
