Electric Poles on Hyderabad Road Raise Public Safety Concerns

A video showing electricity poles standing in the middle of an under-construction road in Hyderabad has gone viral. The road connects Alamdar Chowk with the Old National Highway, where vehicles can be seen passing between the poles. Residents have raised concerns about possible accidents and questioned the planning of the project. The Hyderabad mayor’s spokesperson clarified that the road is still under construction and has not been opened officially. Under the project, 162 electricity poles will be relocated, while 10 of 27 power feeders have already been shifted. Citizens have been advised not to use the road until construction and pole relocation are completed.
