Dubai Launches Ultra-Fast EV Charging Hub with 200+ Chargers to Power Electric Taxi Fleet

Dubai has launched its first dedicated ultra-fast EV charging hub exclusively for electric taxis, marking another milestone in the emirate’s sustainable transportation strategy. Located at Dubai Taxi Company’s Muhaisnah 4 headquarters, the facility is equipped with 24 ultra-fast 360kW charging stations capable of significantly reducing charging times. The initiative is part of a strategic partnership between Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Taxi Company, under which more than 200 ultra-fast charging points will be installed across Dubai. The project aims to improve fleet efficiency, support the growing number of electric taxis, reduce carbon emissions, and accelerate Dubai’s transition toward clean, smart, and environmentally sustainable urban mobility.
