DG LDA Tahir Farooq reviews e-Biz portal, orders strict action over delays

Lahore: Director General LDA Tahir Farooq chaired a high-level meeting to review cases on the e-Biz portal, performance of the Town Planning Wing and progress on the revenue generation campaign. Officials were directed to closely monitor portal cases on a daily basis and ensure timely processing. The DG warned that unnecessary delays or objections would lead to strict accountability. Authorities were also instructed to shift additional services to the e-Biz portal to enhance transparency and efficiency. Furthermore, officers were directed to accelerate field monitoring and ensure recovery of commercialisation fees and penalties from illegal commercial properties, especially on newly commercialised roads, to meet revenue targets.
