Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Ijaz Reviews Shalimar Development, Dengue Measures

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Ali Ijaz visited Shalimar Tehsil and reviewed administrative affairs in Mahmood Booti and surrounding localities. Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Muhammad Amir Butt briefed him on ongoing development works, sanitation arrangements, dengue field surveillance and team performance. According to the district administration statement, the additional scope of work under the Lahore Development Programme is targeted for completion by September 30. The deputy commissioner directed officials to accelerate development schemes without compromising quality or transparency and improve cleanliness across the area. He also ordered complete reporting and immediate elimination of dengue larvae, along with spraying ten surrounding houses in accordance with prescribed standard operating procedures whenever larvae are detected.
