DC Gujranwala orders strict action on poor cleanliness at flyover

Muhammad Muzamil Awan: Gujranwala: Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed conducted an early morning visit under the “Suthra Punjab” vision to inspect cleanliness conditions at Kangniwala Bypass flyover and surrounding areas. During the visit, he reviewed sanitation at the railway line, flyover, and nearby roads, expressing concern over poor performance. Authorities of Gujranwala Waste Management Company were directed to impose heavy penalties on contractors and immediately improve cleanliness standards. This development under the Governance & Policy Cluster highlights strict enforcement of municipal services and urban management.
