CTO Lahore inspects main procession routes for Muharram

Lahore: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi, conducted a detailed inspection of the main routes for Muharram processions to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety. SSP City, AC City, and Agha Hussain Qizilbash accompanied the CTO during the visit. Officials reviewed traffic arrangements along the route, received briefings from DSP Anarkali Rashid Hayat, and the Bhatti Chowk underpass contractor. Decisions were made to lay asphalt around the underpass and keep alternate roads clear. Special instructions were issued to maintain safe and unobstructed routes despite ongoing construction. Authorities emphasized using all resources to ensure convenience for mourners and maintain effective traffic management during Muharram.
