Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Invites US Investment Across Punjab’s Key Sectors

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif addressed a high-level US business delegation and invited American companies to invest in health, artificial intelligence, information technology, minerals, energy and agriculture. She presented Punjab’s special economic zones, industrial land, one-window business services and “Zero Time to Start” policy to the delegation. According to her official presentation, Punjab’s three-year PIVOT economic plan aims to attract $7.1 billion in public and private investment. She also highlighted investment opportunities in the 140,000-acre RUDA project, three CBD projects valued at $620 million, Nawaz Sharif IT City, Medical City, electric transport and affordable housing. The meeting was arranged with SIFC support. No company-specific investment, signed agreement, funding commitment or project deadline was announced.
