CDA Receives Rs13.8 Billion Bids for Four Islamabad Commercial Plots

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority received bids totalling Rs13.806 billion for four commercial plots on the opening day of its three-day auction at the Jinnah Convention Centre. Plot No. 18 in Blue Area attracted the highest bid of Rs9.134 billion, while Blue Area Plot C-1 received Rs3.513 billion. Plot No. 2-G1 in I-9 Markaz fetched Rs529.575 million, and Plot No. 2 at the G-6 I&T Centre in Aabpara Market attracted Rs629.32 million. The auction will continue until August 6. CDA said the proceeds would support infrastructure projects, civic services and efforts to address Islamabad’s water-supply challenges. However, the bids remain subject to scrutiny and final approval by the CDA Board.
