The Punjab government has introduced a major digital facility allowing citizens to access land ownership records from home, eliminating the need to visit government offices. Through the new ROD (Record of Deeds) portal, residents can download verified land record information within seconds—without recommendations, long queues, or paperwork. Officials said the system aims to enhance transparency, reduce fraud, and permanently curb the influence of land-grabbing mafias.
