Bhati Chowk Underpass Nears Completion as Second Asphalt Layer and Finishing Work Progress

Lahore Development Authority Director General Tahir Farooq has inspected the Bhati Chowk Underpass and Data Darbar Extension Project to review the pace and quality of ongoing development work. The projects have been under regular LDA review as authorities push to complete key construction and finishing activities. Earlier official reporting confirmed that construction at the Bhati Chowk Underpass was continuing round the clock.

According to the latest LDA update provided for this report, the second layer of asphalt has been laid at the underpass, while finishing work on the walls and underpass barrels is continuing. At the Data Darbar Extension Project, finishing work in the parking area and toilet block is also nearing completion.

During earlier inspections, LDA officials said work on the parking and toilet facilities was progressing alongside other development activities. DG LDA Tahir Farooq had directed the project teams to maintain high construction and finishing standards.

The projects are aimed at improving traffic movement and upgrading public facilities around one of Lahore’s busiest and most important areas.
