Bahawalnagar: Development work is continuing in Basti Rafiq Kot, Tehsil Bahawalnagar, where sewerage-related infrastructure is currently under construction. According to the latest project update, steel fixing for the septic tank bed has been inspected, while excavation for the sludge carrier is also progressing on site.
The work is linked to development activities being carried out under the Punjab Rural Municipal Services Company (PRMSC). PRMSC is implementing rural municipal services projects in selected areas of Punjab, including Bahawalnagar, with a focus on water supply, sewage systems and paved streets.
Available official procurement records also show civil works packages under the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project for Tehsil Bahawalnagar, confirming that the tehsil is part of the wider infrastructure programme.
